ACCIONA Energy awards IPROCEL the electrical commissioning and I&C contract for the Extremadura I Biomass Plant

IPROCEL has been selected by ACCIONA Energy to execute the commissioning works of the electrical and instrumentation and control areas at the Extremadura I biomass plant, located in the town of Logrosán, in the province of Cáceres.

The facility, which will have a gross capacity of 50 MW, will use 100% forest and agricultural biomass, including energy crops, forestry waste and waste derived from agricultural activity. This type of generation will contribute to diversifying the national energy matrix, supporting the decarbonisation of the electricity system.

During the implementation phase, IPROCEL will deploy a team of more than 15 specialised professionals, reaffirming its commitment to technical excellence and its experience in the field of renewable generation. This new project reinforces the company's position as a reference partner in commissioning solutions and technical services for power plants in Spain.
